Patient Information

Many patients have asked whether we will accept family members or friends into the practice. We are happy to accept new patients, with or without physician referral, for cardiovascular evaluation and treatment. A patient's referral of a loved one to our practice is the highest form of recommendation, and we are honored to receive such referrals. Please notify your family and friends that we are available to provide services for them and would welcome them into our practice.

PatientWe have also been asked which hospital is preferred for cardiac care and for routine hospitalization, St. Dominic Hospital, Central Mississippi Medical Center, and River Oaks Hospital are the hospitals of our practice's choice. If there are specific reasons why you cannot use one of thet hree, please discuss this issue with us so a resolution of any potential problem can be made in advance.

When you or your loved one presents to the Emergency Room or becomes hospitalized, you must specify this practice as your source of cardiology care and specifically request our services if cardiology care is needed. If this is not done, then another available cardiologist might be assigned to your care.

Insurance

We will file your insurance for services rendered; however, deductibles and co-pays will be due at the time of service. We will gladly discuss your insurance and answer any questions you may have relating to your policy.

We must emphasize that as health care providers, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. In such cases, we encourage you to contact us immediately for assistance in the management of your account.
